Tailor Made Furniture

‚Craftsmanship‘ is the key word for this touring exhibition and, as such, defined the approach taken. The tailor‘s dummies clad in leather or fabric represent the high standards of craftsmanship, but also that it is possible for Wittmann to produce bespoke furniture. In very clearly arranged individual stations, the visitor is led though the various steps of production, from the assembly of the frame to the upholstering work. As in the rear area of a fashion show, the models are given their finishing touches and quality controlled before being sent to the catwalk for presentation to the public for the first time.
